Spring Time in Paris KAL

Finally got around to taking pictures of my Spring Time in Paris Socks, I liked the RainDrops out. This was some Opal Pettycoat that I had bought a skein of each color and I really didn't like this one, but have now changed my mind, these a beautiful. Since they are cotton I can wear them in the summer too! I've also got a pair of Sivia Harding Cherry Blossom Socks on needles using handspun merino and Lombard Street using Lorna's Laces.

Bead Stew Bracelet

I purchased the kit for Bead Stew Bracelet/Rock Candy from http://www.earthfaire.com. It was so hard to decide which bead combination there are so many to choose from. It was very easy to knit up, took longer to string the beads. I really see losts of possibilities with this pattern.

Monkey Socks

Finished the Monkey Socks about a week ago, but was waiting for Chappys wonderful Sock Blockers to come in so I could take a better picture. Knitted on #1 KnitPicks with Colinette Jitterbug Lagoon. I just love the colors of the new Jitterbug and this is one of my favorite. I think I have bought every color LYS carries. This was also my first ML to do on the KnitPicks in 32", I was still able to do both socks at once.

Townsend Sock in a Bag Swap

Wow what a wonderful Sock in a Bag I recieved from Mary Alice in Birmingham! My husband walked by and asked when I had made it, that is how much it looks like me. This is my first swap and I am thrilled, overjoyed & so excited.

It is denim lined with a yarn skein fabric and bright piping with vinyl pockets inside. Closes with a strap through buttonholes. Also Doggy Tape measure, Note Pad, Matching Business Card Holders with Cards & Pedicure Kit.

Here are pictures of the four corners. Monogramed with my initials, skeins of yarn, the cutest saying and stitch markers.

Regia Yarn in bright colors and Mirabella Pattern which is very lacy and knitted toe up. This pattern would be great for my handspun Cashgora from my own Allie & Bobba. Have to find a very fun pattern for this wonderful colored yarn.

Highland Heather

Highland Heather Roving reminds me of Iris. So soft and such a pretty yarn. I think I will spin the rest of it and make a felted bag.
I ordered some other Rovings. Especially one from FatKatKnits on etsy that is just beautiful, very muted colors but I've found the perfect beads to go with it.

Secret Sister Gift

Went in to work Saturday to find a wonderful gift from my Secret Sister (wonder who it is???) for my Birthday. I had been eyeballing this at my LYS for a few weeks. What a wonderful gift. (wonder if LYS knows who Secret Sis is???)

Finished Chain Link Socks

They are finally finished!! The Chain Link Pattern was a great pattern and one that I will be using again. I got a little carried away on the foot and made it about 1/2" too long, but the fit is good using a size 0 Addi.
